Build something that has to be right.

Civic software gets used by people who cannot choose a different vendor when it is wrong. That constraint makes the work harder and considerably more interesting.

Where we're hiring

EngineeringHyderabad · Hybrid

Senior Backend Engineer — Twin Services

Own the twin state service: event consumption, state vector maintenance, snapshotting and the confidence model. Deep comfort with event-driven systems and PostGIS.

EngineeringHyderabad · Hybrid

Frontend Engineer — Command Centre

Build map-heavy real-time dashboards that stay legible on a wall for eight hours. Strong React and TypeScript, and real opinions about motion and colour under projector conditions.

DataHyderabad · Hybrid

Data Scientist — Measurement

Own the measurement discipline: confidence scoring, before/after study design, comparison methods and the confounder registry. Applied causal inference experience matters more than model architecture.

EngineeringHyderabad · Hybrid

Mobile Engineer — Field App

Build for low bandwidth, seven languages and voice-first input. Offline-first sync, conflict-safe reconciliation and resumable media upload are the core of the job.

DesignHyderabad · Hybrid

Product Designer

Design interfaces that admit uncertainty without becoming unusable. You will spend real time with district officers and field workers, not only in Figma.

DeliveryHyderabad · Travel

Deployment Lead

Take a deployment from geography modelling through intake, clustering, SLA policy and verification. Requires patience with institutions and a low tolerance for vanity metrics.

Process

How hiring works here

1

A conversation, not a quiz

The first call is about what you have built and what went wrong with it. We are more interested in your account of a failure than a rehearsed success.

2

Work sample, paid

A scoped piece of work resembling the actual job, timeboxed and compensated. No unpaid take-homes and no algorithm trivia.

3

Meet the people you'd work with

Including at least one person whose work you would make harder if you did yours badly.

4

A decision either way

We tell you yes or no with reasons, within a week of the last conversation.

Nothing quite fits?

If you are good at something we clearly need and have not listed, tell us what it is.
