Integrations

Connect what you already run.

Civiq.plus is designed to sit alongside existing departmental systems rather than replace them. Domain services publish events, expose scoped APIs and accept inbound connectors under explicit consent and rate policy.

Patterns

Four ways in and out

REST APIs

Canonical REST domains for geography, twin state, feedback, issues, programmes, communities, surveys, media and agents — scoped by tenant, role and geography on every call.

  • Predictable resource naming
  • Cursor pagination and filtering
  • Idempotency keys on writes
  • Explicit versioning

Event stream

Every domain service publishes to a durable event stream. Subscribe to the topics you need rather than polling for changes.

  • Feedback, issue and programme topics
  • Twin state-change events
  • Agent run and approval events
  • At-least-once delivery with a stable envelope

Webhooks

Push notifications into your existing systems when an SLA breaches, an alert fires or an issue changes hands.

  • Signed payloads
  • Configurable retry and backoff
  • Per-endpoint scoping

Bulk import & export

Load historical records and reference geography, and export permitted data for your own warehouse or analysis stack.

  • CSV, JSON and geospatial formats
  • Permission-scoped exports
  • No uncontrolled export of personal data

Categories

Systems Civiq.plus commonly connects to

Specific vendors vary by deployment. These are the categories the platform is built to interoperate with, and what typically flows across the boundary.

Rules

Constraints every connector inherits

Consent travels with the record

Outbound communication respects an opt-out registry and the consent context captured when the record was created. A connector cannot widen the permission granted at intake.

Permitted APIs only

External messaging and media capabilities are implemented through official APIs and permissions. The native application remains the system-owned communication layer.

Backpressure at the edge

Connectors carry rate limits and backpressure so an upstream outage degrades one channel rather than the command centre.

Provenance is preserved

Imported records keep their source, ingest time and transformation lineage, so a confidence score can account for how the data arrived.
